The Spark Endeavor Project is a community exposition of youth ingenuity — for young people who build and explore simply because they want to.
Young people everywhere have wonderful opportunities to show what they know. Spark Endeavor offers another one — centered on desire rather than competition. Each Participant becomes the Lead Engineer of their own Spark and carries it from first curiosity to something they are proud to stand beside.
It is held to a high standard, and it asks real commitment. But the heart of it is simple: do it because you love it, and share it with the people around you.
It begins with something a young person genuinely wants to explore — not an assignment, but a question they can't let go of.
Ideas are built, tested, rethought and rebuilt. Setbacks are part of the story, and the path matters as much as the result.
Siblings, parents, friends, mentors and neighbors are welcome at the bench. Great work is rarely made alone.
An open exposition where the whole community comes to explore, ask questions and celebrate what was created.
Every Participant is paired with a trusted Advisor — a teacher, relative, professional, coach or tradesperson. Organizations host an annual Group, guided by a local Coordinator who keeps the year moving.
The heart of it
“Believe in yourselves. Dream. Try. Do good.”
— Mr. Feeny, Boy Meets World
These words sit at the center of everything the Spark Endeavor Project asks of its young engineers — and of the adults who walk beside them.
